Unlocking the Best:
Our Path to Exceptional Talent
Our native english speaking veterinary professionals undergo ongoing assessment for strong work ethics, cultural alignment, communication, and clinical experience.
Discover our unique talent vetting process, powered by a carefully crafted 6-step system that ensures consistent excellence.
Step 1: Scouting the Best
We invest heavily to attract the best veterinary talent, and position Mascotte as a top employer. This includes fostering a strong company brand, offering competitive compensation and benefits, cultivating an incredible company culture, and more!
Step 2: Culture-Fit & Role-Fit
We review hundreds of applications weekly to find the best fits. To advance through this stage, candidates must be native english speakers, have excellent communication skills, be native-fluent in English, possess clinical experience, and showcase exceptional tech and software skills.
Step 3: Virtual Face-to-Face interview
If we like an applicant, we conduct a 60-minute technical video interview. This extensive session helps us evaluate not only their communication and hard skills, but also their alignment with our company culture. We aim to determine whether this candidate can establish a long-term, positive fit with Mascotte and our clients.
Step 4: Evaluating Knowledge with a Case Study
We always mandate candidates to undertake two case studies. This demonstrates their genuine proficiency and ability to efficiently handle information. The tests come in varying lengths and complexities, serving as a valuable means to identify any knowledge gaps.
Step 5: Final Interview
The final stage involves an interview with our leadership team. Here, we conduct a thorough review to confirm that the candidate possesses all the necessary skills to support their assigned client, evaluate cultural compatibility, and watch out for any potential concerns.
Step 6: Ongoing Evaluation & Support
Once a vet tech successfully completes the entire process and joins Mascotte full-time, they undergo approximately four weeks of training. Following this initial month-long training and onboarding phase, we continue to provide ongoing training and monitor the performance of our team members.
